These 10 gadgets make travel 10x easier for me, and I guarantee they’ll help you out as well:

Power bank

  • A good power bank allows you to charge your devices wherever you are, whenever you want.

Luggage trackers

  • Luggage/item trackers like the Apple AirTag make it easy for you to track your luggage or other personal belongings if they get lost while travelling.

Charging cable with USB-A end

  • Lots of planes only have USB-A (standard usb) outlets. That’s why I always carry a charging cable with one USB-A end (other end USB-C or lightning) to charge my phone and devices when I don’t have access to an actual power outlet.

Offline maps

  • I’m definitely stretching the definition of gadgets with this one, but using Google Maps to download offline maps of of the areas I’m visiting is one of the first things I do before going on vacation. You could end up losing cellular service at any time, and having a backup of your maps is essential.

Kindle

  • If you read a lot, I highly recommend getting a kindleKindle or any other e-reader. It’ll save you a LOT of space and use up less weight while travelling.

Pens

  • It sounds obvious, but you never know when you might need to write something down. Pens are especially useful when you’re travelling internationally and need to fill out an arrival card.

Universal power adapter

  • There’s nothing worse than needing to charge your phone, only to find out that the charger you brought with you won’t fit in the power outlets. A universal power adapter solves this problem, and allows you to use power outlets anywhere in the world.

Noise cancelling headphones

  • Extremely useful if you fly a lot. Headphones with active noise cancellation let you watch or listen to content on planes at a safe volume without getting disturbed by the loudness of the aircraft.

Airplane headphone adapter

  • If you’d rather use your own headphones on the plane, you can get a headphone adapter that allows you to connect your headphones to the inflight entertainment system. If you want to take it one level further, you could also get a bluetooth headphone adapter to connect your wireless headphones.

eSIMs

  • eSIMs make connectivity while travelling so much easier. All you need to do is purchase the eSIM before you travel and activate it at your destination.
